When Mandy began leading a technical engineering team in 2022, she quickly realized her trusty notebook couldn’t keep up anymore. "I couldn’t write fast enough, and when I could, I often couldn’t read my own handwriting. I needed something that could handle complex information while still feeling as natural as grabbing a notebook and starting to write." We sat down with Travis Platt, founder of the boutique creative agency Whiskey Crawler Creative, to learn more about how he uses Mem in his workflow. "Mem Chat is smart, gets my drift, and knows all of my context," Travis shares. To build on top of his existing knowledge, Travis uses "Mem It" in Chat to turn its responses into useful notes. "It's beautiful because as I'm ideating with Chat, I hit 'Mem It', and there it is as a note that I've created." Travis also uses Chat suggestions to proactively discover new knowledge. "If there's something I wouldn't think to ask, Chat suggests it." As an entrepreneur living with a disability, Travis also emphasizes that Mem’s accessibility is a game-changer for him. "On the iOS app, I love that the 'new note' button is easily reachable at the bottom of the screen." Travis also shares that getting information into Mem is easy and seamless. "I love that I can text or email Mem to quickly start working on something new. In other apps, I feel like I spend most of my time moving all my information around than doing it." By building on top of existing knowledge, proactively surfacing new insights, and making knowledge capture accessible and seamless, Mem is the perfect match for Travis' mind.
